INSPIRED LIVING

JUST IN!  NEW ACCENT FURNITURE PIECES FOR YOUR HOME!  You know how we love the look of one-of-a-kind architectural objects that have a time worn, aged look.  Well, we have found a collection of furniture that re-creates that classically aged distinctive look to add to The Brocante Collection and is now available at Brocante Home.

First is a terrific French Writing Desk.  It is designed to replicate natural white washed wood with watermarked antique mirror top, sides and front drawer.  It has so many uses, bedside table, desk.  The dimensions are 32" x 34" x 20". 

Next is the Maison Library Table in a distressed gray with an antiqued mirrored top.  Can't you just imagine it serving as a bar in your home?  Dimensions are 36.5" x 45" x 22.25".

 And third, is  the Arched Cathedral Table.  This can be used as a side table, sofa table,  hall table. It measures 34" x 36" x 16" and is a soft lightly distressed Gustavian gray.  

All are wonderful and versatile pieces for your home.

C'est Si Bon!

What a terrific turnout for the Decorator Showcase!  Expectations were smashed by the crowds over the weekend for the first ever RW-C event.  Ann and I were especially pleased by the fabulous reception to our Brocante Home furnished and ReArrangements styled cottage and our new line of furniture and bedding, The Brocante Collection.  For those of you who didn't make the event, I will be posting photos of the cottage on our website, www.brocante-home.com, over the next few days.  The Brocante Collection will be at the shop this weekend, just in case there was something at the show you just had to have!  We also had a fantastic turnout (and lots of fun) at the design class that was held at the cottage Friday evening.  Merci!

P.S. - Greta, the Brocante Home resident cat, has asked me to remind you that June is Adopt a Cat Month.  The Northumberland Shelter has many cats and kittens all looking for their "Brocante Home".  If  you are interested in adopting or volunteering, please call the shelter at 804-580-6156 or just ask me.

Sneak Peek.....

Get Ready Girls!!  The Northern Neck Decorator Showcase starts tomorrow, Thursday, June 4 at 10am and will run through Sunday, June 7th.  The hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am - 4pm and Sunday noon to 4pm on the grounds of Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury, 132 Lancaster Dr. in Irvington, VA.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Brocante Home or $15 at the door.  It promises to be spectacular!
